- Controls on top: With any Miele electric cooktop you're sure to receive quick heat up times and a smooth, perfect flat Ceran® surface.Miele offers two series of electric cooktops. Every cooktop has the controls located directly on the surface. The only difference is the design of the controls; either infrared or radial dials. Together, both series provide exceptional performance and the flexibility to accommodate any design. On all Miele cooktops, the surface is slightly depressed with the outside frame. This design is intended to capture any liquids should a pot boil over. The sealed surface and controls also make clean-up very easy.
- 8 cooking zones
- Residual Heat Indicator: Centrally located, this special safety device alerts you to residual heat, by burner position, after the cooktop has been turned off.
- Center Control Configuration maximizes space between burners
- Large variable front burners for frying and sautéing within easy reach
- Unique controls turn clockwise to activate inner burners only and counterclockwise to activate both inner and outer burners
- Variable cooking zones: Many of Miele's electric cooktops come with two variable cooking zones. While each unit is designed differently, they offer the flexibility needed to accommodate a variety of different pot sizes. The proper burner size prevents handles from heating and reduces energy loss.A simple wave of a finger or twist of a knob activates the outside burner ring. You have the same level of control with both zones active as you do with one. The electric coils heat up quickly and, unlike halogen cells, maintain constant temperatures. Simmering onions or melting butter is never a problem on a Miele cooktop.
- Black Ceran ® surface with white burner rings
- Frame in stainless steel
- Knob Design Options: All of Miele's touch-control electric cooktops feature a low-profile design in a black-glass finish. Knob-controlled units are also offered in three widths. Black knobs can be replaced with a stainless-finish version.
