Wolf Cooktop CT15I/S Key Features:
How does it work? The electricity flows through a coil to produce a magnetic field under the ceramic cooktop. When an iron or magnetic stainless pan is placed on the ceramic surface, currents are induced in the cooking utensil and instant heat is generated due to the resistance of the pan. Induction only works with cooking vessels made of magnetic materials like stainless steel and cast iron.
Features and Benefits:
- Power diversion-“hi-power” mode boosts power on rear element to 2200 W by diverting power from front element
- Temperature limiter-ensures that safe operating temperature of glass ceramic is never exceeded
- Cool cooking surface-induction elements heat cookware not the glass for a cooler, safer cooking surface
- Illuminated control-touch controls with graduated control lighting
- Child safety-child safety lock key and universal off
- Overall safety-because only the cooking vessel bottom and the food inside gets hot, there are fewer risks of burned fingers
- Advanced settings-true simmer and melt setting on both elements
- CSA certified-certified for US and Canada
- Simultaneous operation-both elements operate simultaneously at 1800 W each
- High efficiency elements-deliver power and control
- Cookware sensing-elements will not be energized without a pan on the cooktop surface
